✨ What is the project about?
You will be working in a small, cross-functional team of highly skilled engineers consisting of Power Electronics, Control Engineers, HW Electronics and Mechanical Engineers. You will develop a new breakthrough modular converter platform based on wide bandgap semiconductors (e.g. SiC) for a range of grid and DC applications.
✨ Your daily tasks:
- Be a part of converter design process starting from idea generation and simulation, through circuit design and prototyping up to a verification of new products
- Use your experience and knowledge from Radio Frequency domain to help keeping Signal and Power Integrity of new designs.
- Contribute to solve technical challenges related with EMC/EMI.
- Have ability to interpret results from simulation and measurements.
- Understand magnetic components physics.
- Design and validation of CM & DM filters.
- Apply of EMC/EMI standards
- Use of design supporting tools as circuit and FEM simulations.
- Support a fast, iterative design process in a cross-functional, dedicated team.
- Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly.
- Build up and maintain measurement test setups to verify performance, efficiency and robustness
- Working in modern laboratories; bringing up prototypes; evaluating designs limits
✨ What do you need to be successful?
- BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with RF electronics, high speed semiconductor circuits, power electronic converters, and passive filters.
- Experience with simulation tools (like Spice, SIMetrix, Simulink, PLECS, AnSys) is welcome.
- Understanding of signal theory for electronics applications
- Experience with specification, selection and qualification of power devices, PCB circuits, and passive components and filter components.
- Experience with working with laboratory equipment for measurements and testing.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- As you will be part of a global business, fluency in written and spoken English is required
