Scope of the role:

• Building a new licensing model in C++ - developing a solution created from scratch, responsible for checking user entitlement to particular product features, working with large data sets (fetching, comparing, accepting or rejecting)

• Integrating the solution with existing tools - interface-based integration into desktop, web, server and batch applications; some of them are Java-based, so work at the seam between the technologies is done in Java

• Quality and cooperation with product teams - participation in test development (unit, integration, regression), code review, requirements adjustments, infrastructure updates and internal technical documentation

What you need to join us:

Must have:

• Strong C++ knowledge - the foundation of the role, around 80% of the work

• At least basic, hands-on Java experience (e.g. a year or two in a project where Java was used) - expert level is not expected

• English at C1+ level - fluent day-to-day communication in an international, distributed team

• Openness to working with other technologies (Java, JavaScript, Python), work in Polish business hours

• A team-oriented attitude - solving problems together, sharing ideas, staying in touch with the team rather than working in isolation

• Ability to work from the territory of Poland (citizenship, residence card, visa, etc.)

Nice to have:

• JavaScript

• Python - used among others in tests and scripts

• REST API

• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID, IdP

• Experience working with large data sets
